Rayman-legends-retold/">Rayman Legends Retold will receive a substantial audio overhaul, including 43 minutes of new music, rebuilt audio technology and newly recorded dialogue and voice performances. The updated version of the 2013 game is planned for Nintendo Switch 2, alongside Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, which will be included in some editions of Rayman Legends Retold.

Most of the original soundtrack by Christophe Héral and Billy Martin will remain. New orchestral tracks will accompany Dragon Ride stages, a new realm and additional musical levels; some pieces were recorded in Vienna by a 75-member symphony orchestra. Grant Kirkhope is also contributing music for the Land of the Livid Dead.

The game will add musical stages alongside returning tracks such as “The Eye of the Tiger” and “Black Betty.” Ubisoft has also shown a new stage featuring a version of “La Macarena.” The remake will give the story a more developed role as players progress through its worlds, supported by new dialogue and voice recordings.

David Gasman will return as Rayman and Billy West as Murphy, while Barbara and other important characters will receive new performances. The rebuilt audio system is designed to provide positional sound, distinct acoustic perspectives, more realistic material effects and clearer separation between music, ambience, voices and other sound effects. It will also support current surround-sound standards.

Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition will receive a modernized audio engine, remastered sound assets and 5.1 surround-sound support. Rayman Legends Retold’s release was moved from October 1 to December 3, 2026, despite the game having reached gold status, according to the source report.
