As the Halloween season concludes, Nintendo gamers are anticipating a major release on November 5th: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. While this title dominates the early month, several other significant games are scheduled for launch on both Switch 1 and Switch 2 platforms throughout November and December 2026.

Stellar Blade, Shift Up's third-person action-adventure originally released in 2024, is arriving optimized for the new console. The game follows EVE of the 7th Airborne Squad as she battles mysterious creatures known as Naytiba to save humanity. While initial demo impressions raised questions about frame-generation technology used to achieve 60fps, developers have confirmed this feature can be deactivated in the final version. The Switch 2 edition includes content from previous collaborations with NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, plus a new Bayonetta collaboration featuring four couture outfits for EVE. Notably, the full game is available on physical cartridge.

Nintendo continues to update its back catalog with a Switch 2 Edition of Pikmin 4. This version introduces voice commands for Oatchi using the console's built-in microphone and adds a new mode called Dandori Academy. Players can test their collection skills across 72 stages that will be released over time, earning medals and comparing scores globally.

Atlus brings Persona 5 Tactica to the platform as a Game-Key Card title. This turn-based RPG with real-time combat elements invites players to enter a royal tournament, awaken magical Archetype powers, and explore alongside a cast of characters. Similarly, Ubisoft is releasing Rayman Legends Retold, another Game-Key Card release that reimagines the 2013 classic. The update includes new story twists, an expanded soundtrack, a new realm called Kung Foot, and the inclusion of Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition. Following a delay from October, the game supports solo play or four-player couch co-op.

Square Enix is launching Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince's successor three years later as a Game-Key Card. This RPG allows players to befriend, raise, and synthesize monsters from the Dragon Quest series, following protagonists Bianca and Nera. A demo is currently available on the eShop.

Capcom concludes its year with a port of Monster Hunter Wilds, also distributed via Game-Key Card. The title features full cross-platform play and includes all free title updates, with the massive Ascendance expansion planned for the future. Players can hunt massive monsters in dynamic environments online or via wireless local play. A demo is available on the eShop for those interested.

In December, Red Octane releases Stage Tour on Switch 2, a rhythm game reminiscent of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The title supports official hardware, legacy instruments, gamepads, and gaming keyboards. It offers solo or up to four-player local, online, and cross-platform play across various instrument combinations.

Beyond these major titles, additional retail games for both Switch generations are scheduled for the coming months. New accessories for the Switch 2 are also expected to arrive soon.
