Nintendo has released a demo of Pikmin 4, accompanied by a video comparing the game on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Progress made in the demo can be transferred to the full version, which is scheduled to launch on November 12, 2026.
The releases follow the Pikmin Day Direct, a presentation Nintendo held over the weekend and used to mark November 1 as Pikmin Day. Nintendo has also published new promotional videos for the game.
The Direct additionally introduced Hello! Pikmin, a new series of animated shorts. Its first episode, titled “Frog,” is available, as is a Nintendo Treehouse Plays video featuring Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy.
