Nintendo has officially launched a new Nintendo Treehouse Plays session dedicated to Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which is now available on demand. This broadcast follows the recent Pikmin Day Direct held over the weekend, an event that established November 1 as the official Pikmin Day.

In addition to the gameplay showcase, the company has released the second episode of its new animated short series, Hello! Pikmin. The first installment of this series, titled "Frog," was made available immediately after the initial announcements in the Direct video.

The Treehouse Plays presentation serves as a preview for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Pikmin 4, which is scheduled to launch on November 12, 2026. Ahead of the full release, a free demo will be distributed starting November 2. This trial version includes the game's initial area and two levels from the Dandori Academy.

Players who complete the demo will be able to transfer their save data to the full version of the game upon its release later in the month.
