Another edition of Box Art Brawl turns its attention to Revenge of the 'Gator, the Game Boy title also known by that name. The game is listed for one player and belongs to the arcade genre.
Revenge of the 'Gator was released for Game Boy in October 1989 in Japan, in March 1990 in North America and in 1990 in Europe. It later appeared on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in 2013, with regional launches in January, September and October, before joining Nintendo Switch Online on 27 October 2026.
The feature follows last week's Box Art Brawl, which compared two covers for Avenging Spirit, a recent addition to Nintendo Switch Online. The North American design received 30% of the vote, while the Japanese and European artwork took the remaining 70%.
