Japanese magazine Famitsu has published its review of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2, awarding the remake 37 out of 40. The score consists of individual ratings of 9, 9, 9 and 10, for an average of 9.25 out of 10.

That result puts the remake on par with the 2011 Nintendo 3DS version. It falls short of the original Nintendo 64 release, which received a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu in 1998.

The game is scheduled to launch on November 5, 2026. A Zelda-themed console and matching Pro Controller are set to arrive on October 29, while two new amiibo are planned for 2027. The game is listed at Amazon Spain for €59.90.
