Bethesda has officially named its next The Elder Scrolls game The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. Todd Howard revealed the title in a video celebrating the studio’s 40th anniversary, confirming a name that had been reported the previous week.
The short reveal shows a metallic scroll being uncovered from sand, alongside the game’s title logo. It also features a passage attributed to Yazar, Moth Priest of High Queen Iradne of Hammerfell: “The scroll offered only a shimmer, a veil thinly lifted to my eyes. A future lost. A victory undone. Sands of time scattered by fate.”
Bethesda did not share further details. There is no release date, confirmed platform list or gameplay footage, and the studio has not announced whether the game will come to Nintendo Switch 2.
