A leak from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s Nintendo-switch-2/">Nintendo Switch 2 remake points to a change longtime fans have wanted: Zora’s Domain returns to its unfrozen state after Link saves it.
In the original N64 game, Adult Link visits Zora’s Domain while it is frozen by a curse caused by Ganondorf. Completing the Water Temple lifts the curse, but the area remains frozen for the rest of the game—a detail many players felt did not make sense.
Images shared by someone playing a copy of the remake suggest Nintendo has addressed that issue. After the curse is broken, Zora’s Domain appears in its restored state. The report credits the image to Robnaratt34.
The leak includes spoilers about the game’s story. The report says players will be able to try the remake on Thursday, November 5.
