Master Quest does not appear to be part of the Nintendo Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, according to reports from players who have obtained the game early. One player, identified as Dragintodarknes, says they completed the adventure and found no sign of the mode.

Some fans had hoped Master Quest might unlock after finishing the story, but the player’s report indicates that it does not. Nintendo has not commented on whether the mode is included, so its absence has not been officially confirmed by the company.

Master Quest first appeared with the GameCube release of Ocarina of Time and was also included in the 3DS remaster. It features rearranged dungeons and tougher enemies; in the 3DS version, the game world is also mirrored.

Based on the available reports, Master Quest is not in the remake at launch. It could still be added later through an update or DLC, though no such plans have been announced.
