The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and producers Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi travelled to New York to take part in launch celebrations. Nintendo of America shared a post marking the game’s release on November 5, 2026.
Aonuma and Fujibayashi posed in front of promotional material for the game alongside Nintendo of America president Devon Pritchard and Bill Trinen. Aonuma has been connected with the series since the original Ocarina of Time, while Fujibayashi directed Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Nintendo also highlighted its New York and San Francisco stores as places where fans could be among the first to purchase the game. The release arrives as The Legend of Zelda marks its 40th anniversary. Two new amiibo are also planned for 2027.
