Monolith Soft has confirmed that it assisted with the Nintendo-switch-2/">Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, contributing to the game’s design, programming and graphics. The studio described its work as partial contract development in an announcement on its website, where the game has also been added to its portfolio.

Nintendo confirmed earlier this week that the remake was developed internally by its Entertainment Planning & Development (EPD) Production Group No. 3. Monolith Soft’s announcement clarifies that the studio also worked on selected parts of the project.

The developer has previously assisted with other Zelda games, including Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
