A new guide to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 maps out the main Quest, side quests and collectibles. It offers both a brief, spoiler-light route and a more detailed walkthrough of the game’s progression.
The remake follows the same broad story beats as the Nintendo 64 original, but the guide estimates that around 10% of its puzzles and locations have been changed or updated. Those differences may catch out players familiar with the 1998 release.
The walkthrough follows Link from Kokiri Forest through the game’s major dungeons, including the Forest, Fire, Water, Shadow and Spirit Temples, before leading to Ganondorf’s Castle. It also highlights key items and upgrades needed to progress, such as the Hookshot, Iron Boots and Lens of Truth.
Optional activities covered include visiting Great Fairy Fountains, finding bottles and heart pieces, pursuing Epona, and exploring Gerudo’s Training Ground. The guide says its lists of side quests, collectibles, items and upgrades are still in progress.
