ConcernedApe has shared new details about Stardew Valley’s upcoming 1.7 update, which could become the largest content update in the game’s history. Speaking during the latest stop of the franchise’s concert tour, the creator confirmed that work on the update is ongoing.
Characters Clint and Sandy are among the additions mentioned so far, but ConcernedApe said they account for only a small part of what is planned. No specific release date has been announced; the update is expected sometime in 2027.
The previous major update, version 1.6, added new festivals and events, a new farm type, visual improvements and other content. It had been expected to be Stardew Valley’s final update before ConcernedApe focused on Haunted Chocolatier, but development on the farming game has continued.
