Pokémon Sleep has shared details of Hearty Eating Week Vol. 1, a week-long event centered on new recipes and the Snacking Nuts ingredient. Cottonee and Whimsicott will also make their debut in the app, with both Pokémon appearing more often during the event. The announcement did not specify the event dates or when the new recipes will be added.
During the event, every dish will count as “Anything Goes,” allowing players to prepare any type of meal. Dishes containing Snacking Nuts will receive preference, and helper Pokémon with the Ingredients specialty will bring an additional Snacking Nut alongside their usual ingredient haul. The event will also increase those Pokémon’s carrying capacity by 10 and let players add 30 more ingredients to the cooking pot.
The new ingredient will feature in three recipes: a curry and stew requiring Greengrass Corn, Bean Sausage and Snacking Nuts; a salad using Ginger, Snoozy Tomato, Avocado and Snacking Nuts; and a dessert or drink made with Fancy Eggs, Slowpoke Tail, Greengrass Soybeans and Snacking Nuts. The recipes require 39, 121 and 91 ingredients in total, respectively. Snorlax’s strength gains will be multiplied by 1.5 for ingredients used in a dish containing Snacking Nuts, with a further 1.5 multiplier for each Snacking Nut added beyond the recipe’s requirements.
Cottonee and Whimsicott will have a high encounter chance during the event. Both have the Medium sleep type and can appear on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach and Amber Canyon, including the expert versions of Greengrass Isle and Cyan Beach. Their encounter rate will be higher on expert Cyan Beach than in the other listed areas. The announcement also says Pokémon with different sleep types may appear regardless of the player’s own sleep type.
Pokémon Sleep will offer Supply Week Vol. 1 bundles in S, M and L sizes alongside the event. The S bundle costs 250 diamonds and includes four Poké Biscuits, one Double Candy and three Small Handy Candies; it can be purchased up to three times. The M bundle costs 1,200 diamonds and contains six Great Biscuits, six Poké Biscuits, one Dwebble Incense, one Pumpkaboo Incense and two Medium Handy Candies. The L bundle costs 3,000 diamonds and includes three Ultra Biscuits, 13 Great Biscuits, four Double Candy, one Trapinch Incense, one Shinx Incense and one Large Handy Candy. The M and L bundles are each limited to one purchase. Their availability dates were not specified.
