Pokémon has started a mysterious countdown, although its purpose remains unknown. Fans first noticed the campaign on October 18, when an image of Bulbasaur appeared alongside the number 1,025.
A second image followed featuring Goodra and the number 843. The latest update shows Teddiursa with the number 646. Fans who have tracked the time between the posts believe the campaign is progressing on an hourly schedule and will conclude on November 30 at 14:00 UTC.
The first two images contained partially obscured text, while the wording in the third image is fully visible. It roughly translates as “Continue with Pokémon.”
There is currently little additional information pointing to what the countdown may reveal. Speculation has included possible news related to Pokémon games, although no announcement has been confirmed. Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Nintendo Switch port rumors have circulated without materializing, while Pokémon Winds and Waves are scheduled for 2027. The countdown’s connection to either project remains unclear.
