Nintendo has announced that November 1 will be known as Pikmin Day from now on. The declaration was made in a video published on Nintendo’s YouTube channel, which also presented several updates connected to the franchise.
The presentation included a reminder trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Pikmin 4, including Dandori Academy. The edition is scheduled to launch on November 12. Nintendo also announced a demo for the game, featuring its first two stages and save-data carryover, for release on Monday.
Pikmin Bloom received a trailer for a new feature called Secret Caves. The feature will include touchscreen battles against familiar enemies from the series and is planned to arrive this winter.
Nintendo Pictures has also launched Hello, Pikmin, a new video series. Its first episode is available now, while a second episode is planned for later in November. Following those initial releases, new episodes will be published monthly.
