Monolith Soft has confirmed that it contributed to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake for Nintendo-switch-2/">Nintendo Switch 2. In a social media post, the studio said it handled part of the game’s design, programming and graphics development under contract.
The company is also credited in the game’s “special thanks” section. Its involvement had been the subject of earlier rumors, but the remake was largely developed internally at Nintendo by EPD Production Group No. 3.
The game’s credited developers include producers Eiji Aonuma and Hidemaro Fujibayashi, director HokWai Ng, programmer Hiroki Taguchi, artist Aya Shida and composer Masato Ohashi. The remake is scheduled for worldwide release on November 5.
