Nintendo has released version 1.3.4 for Kirby Air Riders, an update focused on bug fixes. It resolves an issue in the Gourmet Race Stadium event where Gooey could earn more points than intended by collecting food, as well as a Stadium Battle Royale problem that could make the game unplayable after certain actions were performed before a match began with specific riders and machines. The patch also fixes several other issues to improve gameplay. Nintendo says it does not change rider or machine performance.

The latest version is required to play online. Installing it will prevent local LAN play with players using earlier versions. Replays from versions 1.3.3 through 1.3.0 may not work with version 1.3.4, and replays from version 1.2.0 or older are incompatible.

Players who want to keep replays can use the Playback Settings screen to save them under “Temporary Saved Data” or “Replay with Data” before installing the update, then convert them into video files.
