Kirby Air Riders has received version 1.3.4 on Nintendo Switch 2. The update introduces a new event in place of the previous Halloween event and includes several bug fixes and other improvements.
In Gourmet Race, the patch fixes an issue that let Gooey earn more points than intended when collecting food. In Kirby Melee, it addresses a problem that could prevent a match from progressing if certain actions were performed with specific riders and machines before the battle began.
The update makes no changes to rider or machine performance. Nintendo also warns that version 1.3.4 may not support replays from versions 1.3.3 through 1.3.0, and does not support replays from version 1.2.0 or earlier.
Players who want to keep replays should convert them into video files before downloading the update. This can be done using the recording option on the playback settings screen, under stored data and replay data. The feature requires a microSD Express card.
