Nintendo has announced a replacement for Kirby Air Riders’ cancelled Halloween event. The new event begins on 4 November at 7pm PT and runs until 9 November at 7pm PT, which is 5 November for players in Europe.
The event uses the ruleset from Shadow Star’s Revenge, which last appeared in March 2026. Players can still earn the Ghost headwear reward originally offered in the Trick or Treat event, for 1,100 points.
Points earned during the short-lived Trick or Treat event have been reset to zero. Nintendo is increasing the number of points players earn per match to make it easier to collect the available rewards.
The Halloween event had been scheduled to run from 28 October to 4 November but was cancelled after players reported that gameplay screens regularly froze during early matches. Nintendo said the issue affected the ongoing Trick or Treat event and apologised for cancelling it.
